shots at health, overweight but just 20?

I've been to several docs for different test related to possible neurological issues over the past few months. Everytime I've went, blood pressure has been 150/80 or worse. Cholesterol has been pretty bad also, and blood sugar isn't the levels of someone who's had diabetes for a while, but it ranges from what my docs have said to be "normal" to levels of 121 almost 3 whole hours after just two apple pies from mickey d's. I feel like such crap now a days, but feel like until I get over my als/lou gerighs disease testing I don't need to lose weight or exercise because I'm already down from 260 to 229 due to chronic digestive issues that hit hard this semester. Aren't I a bit young for these issues? Even though my girlfriend is younger than me and has ulcer issues and no gallbladder, I figured it's strange to have diabetes/hbp/high bad cholesterol just at this age. Have felt sort of diabetic since being overweight at17 but blood sugar just getting bad.

It's not unusual at your age given your history of obesity and current obesity. Weight loss due to medical issues is not necessarily an improvement. Whatever possessed you to eat TWO apple pies... How do you know what feeling diabetic is?

  • Well, no. Actually at any age, unfortunate situations can arise. Do what you need to do to get yourself back to normal. Start eating high fiber, lots of fruits, and lean proteins. Exercise to tone.
