Having body/ fitness issues?

I think I am having some body issues. I'm not sure if its all in my head or if I need to really lose some weight or tone up or both. I am 5 feet tall and 5 inches. I weight 114 pounds and I just feel so fat around my middle. I want to be more slim with flat tummy and thin thighs. But maybe the mirror is lying to me? Do I weight too much for my height?

You don't weigh too much for your height. Your best bet is to do blogilates. Try doing her beginner's workout and then continue with her monthly workout calendars. They usually last 30 mins minimum but it'll tone you up very well. Also, while doing this, don't do any major diet changes especially if you're already eating healthy. Don't count calories as you might become obsessed. Just eat healthy about 5 times a day to be energized and workout to blogilates. Good luck!

Subscribe to Muscle and Fitness Hers. And I disagree with the best answer... Track calories as it is needed if you want to lose weight. After awhile of tracking your calories you'll be able to just look at food and estimate how many calories it has, thus, you wont become obsessed, you'll simply gain knowledge as to what to eat and what to avoid. Also, don't just track calories, track fats/protein/carbs. Carbs is a major problem with people who try to lose weight (usually because we crave them). If you limit your carbs daily, you'll lose A LOT of weight, but don't abandon them completely. Eat a lot of healthy fats, i.e, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated. Try to stay away from trans, and saturated. Good fats will HELP you lose weight. Muscle & Fitness Hers is a very good starting point, check it out. Also, you're not even "fat", stop reading beauty magazines :p
