What is the name of this wire/plug for my camera charger? Three holes...?

I'm trying to find the wire I need to buy for my charger. It connects from the wall (with the normal wall plug) and the other end is a female end and has three holes and plugs into the charger base where I would put my camera battery for charging. I don't know what this is called so I don't know what to search for.

Well uiop er qwerty, because you don't tell us either the make or model of your camera we can not give you the answer you need or want. I will suggest that you try a search for your camera make/model and then on the MANUFACTURER's website, no not Pronto,Newegg, Amazon or anyone that isn't the manufacturer such as Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm,Olympus,Panasonic or others whomever made your camera. When you get there research your camera and accessories and that should give the information about the charger. Then you can call their customer service and tell them what you need and ask about the best source to obtain a new cord.I would have been happy to look it up but you didn't tell us what make/model of camera you have.

Good Luck, keep your chin up, a smile on your face and may the sun always shine upon your day.

There are two main types of 3 - contact connectors

that are used on AC power cords.

One is the C13, the body of which is a rectangle with

truncated corners, and has rectangular holes and pins.

The other is the C5, the body of which has 3 lobes

(sometimes referred to as the "clover"),

and has round holes and pins.

You can google "power cord" to find images

of almost any type currently in use.
