I have decided that I do not want a man in my life, nor do I want a woman.?

So I'm not gay, I'm not straight, both terms identify someone's sexual preference. Is there a term or word to describe my choice of lifestyle? There is celibate or non-sexual but that's all I can think of.

The word is celibate. It carries no sexual preference connotation.

Okay, fine. If you want to be celibate, that's perfectly all right, if you want to have an occasional romance without commitment, that's okay, too. If you have no sexual interest at all, you might be asexual, or you might have a low sex drive.

thing is, it's your life and your choice whether to be involved with anyone intimately. But if you're relatively young, don't rule out the possibility that you might meet someone really special and change your mind.
