Wavy/blurry quality on Canon HF g10?

The quality of the footage is bad, and it gets worse the longer it records. If the clip is short it's better but if it is long every sharp movement is wavy or blurry.

In preview on the camera the footage looks good, but when i download it on my computer i notice the problem. Tried on a Mac and a Pc, with same problems. Codecs are ok and i tried to convert the files, but still same problem.

Thanks in advance!

Update:

The picture is small, you notice the problem if you open it and zoom in (: Alot of small waves.

You did not tell us what the video capture settings are.

That looks like it could be one of two things:

    1) The camcorder is in an "interlaced" video capture mode. That is when alternating line of video are captured. This gets exacerbated when the zoom is used.

    or

    2) if in a "progressive" mode, the consumer-grade AVCHD compression - known to not get along well with fast motion is in a low bit rate/high compression setting. While highly compressed video can make for smaller files, it also reduces video quality. It is usually best to record at highest quality (lowest compression). This makes large files, but you should not get these sorts of artifacts.

    3) While we are here, be sure to turn off digital zoom.
