Why do I get irritated with people I am close to?
So this has been something I have done my whole life. Sometimes when I get really close to someone, especially girlfriends, I get irritated with them really easily. I don't act on it because I know i'm ridiculous, and thy never do anything wrong. It bothers me because it's like I am expecting something from them. Why do I get irritated with people I get close to?

The ones that people love the most are the ones that usually irritate them the most. I think it's normal. If it is making an impact on your relationships, ask yourself why you are annoyed when they start to irritate you, and look around you to see if it could have been another factor that is being annoying. If you take a minute to yourself to calm down and think it over, you might start to see things in a clearer light and get past your annoyance. Sometimes I find that when I'm sad about something else in my life, I perceive people as more annoying than they are. Is there something big happening in another aspect of your life?

maybe it might be a good idea to talk to your significant other about your feelings because trust me, it really can help especially in a relationship
