Was that the voice of the Colander, that stood with one foot on the pasta and another in the sauce?
I think the beast with the seven anchovies is called the Pesto, and that it tries to leave a stain (or mark) on every person's shirt or tie. The Antepasta is the one that summoned Pesto. It is the black pasta known variously as Cavatappi, Cellentani, Amori, Spirali, Tortiglioni, Trivelle, or Stortelli, and it is sometimes identified with a serpent.
