What to expect at Universal Studios (Orlando), in August?
My husband and I are planing a trip for the middle of August (After the 15th). Will the parks still be crowded? How is the temperature? Thanks in Advance.

The parks may be crowded, but if you leave early enough in the mornings, you may be able to beat some crowds as well as some of the afternoon heat.
As for the temperature, it will (at least) be in the 90s. With the humidity that Central Florida is known for, you can probably add 5-10 degrees to the high for that day, just to give yourself an idea of what to expect. Also, despite the fact that Florida is the Sunshine State, we receive a significant amount of rain as well. I suggest that you bring a couple of umbrellas or rain ponchos (whichever you prefer). However, if it rains, it is unlikely that it will be all day.
If you haven't booked a hotel yet, there is a vacation home company that you should look into. In my experience, having a vacation home has made the rainy days much more enjoyable (indoor games, theatre rooms, etc.).

yes the parks will still be crowded cuz many kids in the country don't go back to school until the day after labor day which is in the beginning of september.
the average daytime high in mid august is 92*F with many days reaching higher than that and with the heat index taken into consideration it actually feels more like 105*F.
nighttime lows only get as low as about 73*F.
its very very humid.
and it rains/thunder storms nearly every afternoon usually only lasting for an hour or so.

It is very hot and humid in Orlando in August.
The parks will still be crowded; many schools don't go back until late August or even after Labor Day. But they are more crowded in July and early August though.
