What can be the cause of a numb left big toe on the right side?

I first noticed this this morning when I woke up, and just assumed it was the way I slept. But when I got home from school it was still numb. It is not discolored at all and does not tingle or hurt. It just feels numb and weird if I touch it. What can be causing this?

Gout, arthritis etc. If it intensifies it is probably gout but you need a doctor to have a look if it does continue to hurt. NO ONE here, including me, can diagnose you properly one a doctor can do that.

You should probably have a doctor look at it if you still can't feel it after a while.
