Do we have an astronaut on the ISS right now?

If so, how is he/she getting home?

Update:

@ dead.....and leave themselves without a ride in an emergency?...yeah, you paid attention alright. Maybe you should change your name to I see dead Astronauts.

  • They are emailing him a paper airplane version of the Space Shuttle to fly back in.

He is printing out the parts now, he expects to be ready for re-entry in about 3 months.

Despite our current problems with Russia.........I am sure they are still happy to take our money for the ride home. Roughly $20,000,000 a ride. Putin will probably double or triple that.........all things considered........and we will have no choice but to pay it.

I doubt they'd use their Emergency escape vechile just for a ride.

They could always take the emergency crew return vehicle, if they're refused passage.
