Laptop keyboard stopped working properly!! How to solve?
I honestly do not know what happened, my laptop keyboard was working fine until last week when I tried to type in my password and it would not work, I then discovered certain keys were not working, thus not being able to type the password in full. I got logged in using the tedious on screen keyboard.
How can I get my keyboard working again? it seems half of the keys are not working, making it practically impossible to do tasks such as type in web addresses or type anything without faffing around with the onscreen keyboard.
I'm on Windows 8, any suggestions what to do would be so very much appreciated.
Thank You

first try this: shut it down and remove battery and all the cables including charger then hold power button for 60 seconds then insert battery again and turn it on. then see if that works...
OR try system restore. it could be virus or suspicious program that installed recently..go to system properties > system protection > system restore then choose any restore point where your laptop was working good .
if above methods didn't work then take it to repair shop.... don't try to fix on your own if you don't know how to fix it ... sorry fr bad english.... hope it helps... good day dude

Getting a can of compressed air and blow out under the keys. Most common cause of issues with keyboards is "gunk" building up under the keys.
