Are T-cells and B-cells both activated when they connect with each other?

I am writing a short paper on the activation of T-cells and B-cells. From what I have learned, it seems that both of these cells get activated when they connect. Is this correct? It sounds suspiciously easy.

B cells have to first connect with the antigen through their MHC molecule - this is called sensitization. Next, an already activated T cell has to make contact with this sensitized B cell - this is called B cell activation. There are two parts of B cell activation. There are some great YouTube videos of this. Just type in B cell activation in the search box!
