    Putin does not want Ukraine.

    Ukraine will be a massive, very long financial drain on whoever supports the country.

    If our politicians cared about human rights, the United States would've intervened in Syria a long time ago. It would be surprising to see the United States help the Ukrainian people even if the Russians started killing them by the millions. I don't see anything coming from the United States, except for empty words and false promises.

    It would seem the U.S. Government is only prepared to intervene militarily for NATO countries, which does not include Ukraine. What their actual obligations are I do not know.

    because there is not reason to believe he won't do that

    what is the world response when that happen?

    probably more economic sanctions against Russia

    No, not required by treaty.

    One would assume it would be met with severe economic sanctions, but Obama hasn't given me a reason to believe it yet.

    Ukraine is NOT in NATO

    the WORLD would respond.

    Crimea was a legitimate part of Russia. Ukraine is more than Crimea
