Bread is an easy digestible food but why is it bad to eat when on a diet?

In short the problem is that it offers too fast an energy source so if you eat breads and fat at the same time the body will just store the fat and use the glucose from the bread which comes from the breakdown of the amylose or starch.

Bread is full of carbs that the body doesn't need and is unable to digest, so it just gets transferred into fat intake.

Bread is perhaps the most glycemic foods there is. It's true junk food. It turns into sugar very rapidly in your blood stream putting stress on your ability to use insulin.
It was one thing when ancient man ate the wheat in his field - but it's quite another to eat the pure sugar crap that we call "bread" now.
Bread is a nutritional desert if you compare it to any vegetable like cabbage or spinach which are very nutritious. Bread is just sugar with nothing else to recommend it. But years and years of advertising lies have convinced people that bread is "healthy".... it's not.
A guy could lose a lot of weight by just quitting this junk.
