Need help. physics research project?

Hi.

I am sorry if my english is not perfect...it is not my 1st language

I am a high school student

For physics we need to do a research on any subject we would like.

I love physics very much and that is why I want a very interesting project. We also have an expo. We will promote our project to a lot of people.

But my final grade is for something I have to research. I will also need to do a practical reasearch on my project and decide the correlation between things... for example efficieny of an engine or number of nodes in a standing wave as a function of the tension in the string.

So can you please help me find a subject. I would love a challenge... but nothing impossible to build. Thanks a lot!!

I currently have the power and efficiency of a steam engine as my subject, but i am hesitant..thinking maybe i should change it.

I have no idea how to build one. So could you either give me tips and info about a steam engine or recommend a more intersting subject

"I have no idea how to build one" I'm guessing you could research it and find out how on the web.

But would you have the time, money, and resources to do it?

I'm guessing no. So KISS it (keep it simple silly). And do the best you can with a simple project.

    Here's a guaranteed A (4.0):

    couder pilot wave experiment description

Type this into your search engine and read up on this "tabletop" experiment that can be done in a HS lab environment. The most difficult part of the experiment is in acquiring a vibrator to vibrate the pan of liquid that the oil drops are placed in. You'll understand what I just said after reading the web sources.

The interest value is overwhelming as this is the first true alternative to quantum physics as we have it today. Very topical and very important to the physics domain.

Please, ask your teacher for help. He or she is capable of giving you some advice on how to do your assignment.

Source(s): I am not very good at both math and physics.
