Should I take to a computer shop?
Okay so I built a PC and my monitor won't turn on. I was using an dvi to VGA adapter to try and get my monitor on but it didn't work so I tried an hdmi to hdmi mini adapter and it doesn't work either. So plugged and audio plug in into the audio jack and I plugged it up and there's no beeping. Also my optical drive opens and blinks and all my fans and LEDs come on too. So do you have any suggestions? Should I just take it too a computer shop?

Could be your monitor, could be your graphics card. Some shops will help diagnose for free, or minimal charge...wouldn't be a bad idea to have them help you figure it out. Just make sure they don't charge you more than about $60 bucks.

There are too many variables that needs to be considered. It may be damage to the crystal of the CPU, or the video card isn't working at all, or there may be something wrong with the mobo. It would be better to consider taking it to a specialist.
