Because he'd rather have money than Super Bowl.

    Multiple reasons.

    1. He wants to win a Super Bowl and the fact is it's nearly impossible to repeat even if your Seattle.

    2. He wants to go to a team with a high powered offense and the Bears had the 2nd best offense in the NFL second to the Broncos. Seattle's offense is horrible. The reason why he wanted to play on a high powered offense is simple, the bigger the lead you have the more chances he'll get to sack the QB and he really wants to be in the top 10 in sacks for the history of the NFL.

    3. Lastly, the Bears offered him more money.

I think Sea could only offer 1/2 the cash because they have so many contracts coming due. At age 31 though he still has a few good years for sure.

    I agree with Isaac.

Mr Allen at this late-stage in his career wants not a super bowl win, in Chicago, rather he wants the ....

.....$. Chicago gave him a boatload of CASH.

Allen knows full well that Seattle is a finely tuned Football Machine with GM Schneider at their roster helm: he is like the Phil Jackson of Football putting the Right Players Together ~ At The Right Price, .....

....not just dumping talent on the field haphazardly.
