Is the HAL Tejas truly indigenous?

The engine is a General Electric GE F414 (which is incapable of supercruise or even Mach 2 speed).

The airframe design is Swedish. See the Saab JA 37 Viggen. Except for the canards, externally both fighters are almost indistinguishable.

A mixture of French, Russian and Israeli weapons systems.

Avionics are of Israeli/French origin

A Martin Baker zero-zero ejection seat

To me it looks like HAL just put the parts together. How can they claim that the whole enterprise from start to finish was an indigenous effort?

Update:

@Mark you don't need a degree in aeronautical engineering to find a blueprint of both aircraft on google, put them side by side and compare and I explicitly mentioned " except for the canards". Everything else about the fighter is true. This illustrates your lack of ability to read plain english

The airframe is not Swedish and the Tejas looks nothing like a Viggen. That illustrates exactly how much you know about aviation.
