Does God send people to hell?

Max is correct. God SENDS no one to hell. People who go to hell have chosen to go there because they've rejected the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross. He suffered and died there for each of us. He paid the ultimate cost with His life. He was perfect and had no sins to pay for. We owe God for the wrong we have done, and do. God's heaven is perfect and cannot allow sinful humans into it. If you just cleaned your house, would you let a herd of filthy pigs into it? Of course not, and neither will He. Our sin demands punishment, and that punishment is an eternity spent in hell. Yet, Jesus already paid for every sin you have committed, AND every sin you have yet to commit. Think about it. What can you possibly do that would please God more than what His Son, Jesus Christ, already did for you. Your sins were PAID IN FULL. All God asks you to do is to believe it; to rely on that fact and recognize you can't work for salvation. He also tells us that if you're going to heaven, you'll KNOW it today. If you're not, but your heart's still beating and you're still breathing, you can still make your choice. Either believe on Jesus Christ for eternal life, or don't. The choice is yours; but don't wait. You don't know if you have tomorrow.

Ephesians 2:8-9 - For by grace you HAVE BEEN SAVED through faith; and that NOT of yourselves, it is the GIFT of God; NOT as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 John 5:13 - These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, in order that you may KNOW that you HAVE eternal life.

Jehovah God put the choice of life and death by serving him since the days of the Israelites even down to our day. Deuteronomy 11:26-28 tells us: 'I am putting putting before you today the blessing and the curse. 27. The blessing, provided you will obey the commandments of Jehovah your God that I am commanding you today; 28 and the curse, if you will not obey the commandments of Jehovah your God and you do turn aside from the way about which I am commanding you today, so as to walk after other gods whom you have not known.

11 Do not blame the Lord for your sin; the Lord does not cause what he hates.] 12 Do not claim that he has misled you; he does not need the help of sinners to accomplish his purposes. 13 The Lord hates evil in all its forms, and those who fear the Lord find nothing attractive in evil. 14 When, in the beginning, the Lord created human beings, he left them free to do as they wished. 15 If you want to, you can keep the commands of the Lord. You can decide whether you will be loyal to him or not. 16 He has placed fire and water before you; reach out and take whichever you want. 17 You have a choice between life and death; you will get whichever you choose.

God is a just God. God must uphold the law that He has created because it is perfect since it is based on His personality. Anyone who sins and rejects Christ is saying they do not want God. Therefore, they will not get any characteristics of God. The place they go to is Hell because it is a place where one feels no characteristics of God. The people who love God and accept Him will go to Heaven because all the characteristics of God are found there.

God sends no one to hell but wants everyone to have salvation. Sinful people send themselves to hell. God bless!

you have summed it up well,We are already in the world of cause and effect,suffering and death.God is giving us an olive branch to pull us out of it.Sadly many human think they can determine their fate which will lead them to continued suffering and possible disconection with god.Human in the end choose to disconnect with god, not the other way around.

God will send people to hell if they do not accept Jesus as their personal savior at the age they know to do that. People who do accept Christ as their savior will be able to go to heaven.

That is the sick thing about Christian theology. Viewing us as rotten worthless trash from birth.

They choose that option on their own.
