press Winkey + R to open the Run box, then type "dxdiag" without quotes. Press Enter. If you see a prompt appear click Yes. Once it has finished checking, click the 'Display' tab. Check under 'DirectX Features' - DirectDraw should be enabled. Also check in the 'Notes' section for any problems.
If DirectDraw is not enabled or there's problems, go to the ASUS driver download website to obtain the official driver* or open ASUS Live Update from the Start menu (if installed.) You can also install a program like SlimDrivers to find updates for you.
(Advanced) You can also open Device Manager and Uninstall the particular graphics card, then click 'Scan for hardware changes'. The graphics card should be detected and re-installed (it may reinstall with a generic driver, you may have to go to the ASUS driver download website to obtain the official driver* again)
*When looking for drivers, make sure you search using the exact model number of your laptop.
