What should i do about an annoying co-worker?

This guy purposely makes weird noises, sings and whistles loudly whenever I'm around. This makes me nervous. He doesn't do this when anyone else is present. I think he's purposely trying to irritate me because some months back I reported him for doing something that was stupid and dangerous to others. Ever since, he's been doing this. I know he's trying to push my buttons and make me react. I thought of saying something to him myself, but if I do, he's liable to get me in trouble with the supervisor. If I tell the supervisor, he's liable to think I'm paranoid or crazy, but I know this isn't something he does with others. I'd like to tell the supervisor, but don't even know how to word it. Some advice please.

This is harassment and companies take it very seriously. Talk to your manager.

Maybe u talk to your supervisor and ask to be placed somewhere else if u have to work next to him the whole work day. If u just have to encounter him for a short period of time during working hours - well, la di da, people ARE annoying. get used to it

  • It's called harrassment. You either need to tell him this or you need to talk to his/your supervisor.

If it's awkward saying something directly to the supervisor, send them an email.

    Say something like,

"Hello, I would like to report -the guy- for disrupting the workplace....(explain what exactly he does).. Thank you very much, I would really appreciate help with handling the situation."

    Good luck.
