Fellow Mac Users... I do not want to upgrade to Maverick, but...?
I do not want to upgrade to Maverick, but I do want to upgrade from 10.6.8... what can I do? Anyone know any options?
I bought special software that requires at least 10.7... I know Maverick will invalidate some of my software... any way I can maybe only upgrade a step or two?

Thanks for NOT telling us the full name of the App you're concerned about, without it, we can't even check to see if it is compatible with OS X Mavericks. So check the compatibility yourself, do NOT assume that it won't run under Mavericks.
Then, if compatible with Mavericks, do the Upgrade to Mavericks NOW!!! All OS X Upgrades are (for all intents and purposes) MANDATORY, only computer phobics would choose not to do them the instant they became available. Go to the problem App's originating website for more info, and if not available, demand the Update, ASAP.
TIP: The real question is, WHY haven't you upgraded from OS X Snow Leopard before this??? Mavericks is free from the Mac App Store (not the iTunes Store).
