Baltimore Ravens NFL Draft? Your opinions?

17th pick: H'sean Clinton Dix. The argument that it's too much of a risk to have to young players in the backfield needs to stop. What other choice does Baltimore have? There are no more Free agent Free safety's that Baltimore can find and Matt Elam needs to be put at Strong Safety. I think he can play at a high level at Strong Safety and would be a great player at that position. He is a great run stopper, energy and emotion and can change his pace. He should be the starting Strong Safety. Clinton Dix is a phenomenal Free Safety and has many skills to be the best defensive player in this draft. He can cover tight ends and slot receivers, speed, athletic, even for his size and would be an instant contributor! The Ravens has no starting Free Safety and will have a backfield with a bright future if Clinton Dix is available at 17.

Alternative picks:

Odell Beckham: Athletic Wide receiver who can play the slot and ran a great 4.31 at the draft combine. An athletic receiver who can be a long term replacement for Steve Smith after retirement.

Eric Ebron: Could fall off Draft Boards after he struggled at his pro day. Still, he is too much of a talent for Ozzy and crew to pass up if Clinton-Dix and Mike Evans aren't available.

Mike Evans: Man O man, how much of a miracle it would be if he was to be drafted by Baltimore. He would be a starter day one and would have a huge affect, sadly, it's doubtful he'll be available at 17, is he is, he'll be picked up quickly.

Matt Elam plays better at free saftey. Dix is a free safety type of player as well. I would get offensive support first. Mike Evans is a great choice. There's so many recievers besides him. Ravens have a lot to choose from.

Then I would worry about secondary. second round I would get a cornerback like Marcus Roberson. Third round I would go with SS Jimmie Ward. Then your secondary is set. HaHa is great, but he doesn't fit the defensive scheme. and Evans is more needed

Why did you waste your time? You have no idea if Dix, or any of those others, would even be available. If he's so great, why would you think he'd be available when the Ravens pick?

How do you know Ebron struggled at his pro day? Because some sports writer who doesn't know hos áss from a hole in the ground said so?

As a Ravens fan Id prefer to see us draft an OL in the 1st round to fill the void at RT, we can either draft a FS in a late round or plug somebody in who's already on the roster. As for Ebron Id like to see him on the Ravens but truthfully Joe has enough weapons now to get the job done.

Of these choices, I believe that Eric Ebron would be the best fit for the Baltimore Ravens.
