You could always go to your piercer and have him/her change the jewelry for you! :D
If you have labret studs in your lip, simply unscrewing the end will allow you to easily remove your jewelry (provided it's internally threaded or threadless).
If you have captive-bead rings in your piercings, apply pressure to the ball to dislodge it, and GENTLY bend the ring to the side (making a sort of corkscrew) to easily remove the jewelry. The same can be done with a fixed-bead ring.
Source(s): I'm a professional body piercer, and I have my lip pierced (currently stretched to a 0 gauge, so I can just pop my labret plug out whenever. Better get stretching!). - Love♥Lv 47 years ago
If its a stud it should unscrew. If they are a ring just take the ball off and slip the rest out.
