Warm camping in April?

Of course I know April is still kinda cold, and rain is a possibility, but where around the Bay Area are there generally warm days in April where we could camp for 2-3 days? I think near the ocean or high in the mountains would be too cold... My friend lives in San Jose, I live in Hayward, willing to drive up to 100 miles or so. Looking for a very forestry area, but with toilets and a fire pit :) thanks in advance!

Around Big Sur would be great. New Brighton SP is nice as well as Pfiffer Big Sur SP. Now if you want warmer you would have to go South towards LA. April is a hit or miss season and you never know what you might get. Be prepared for rain for sure.

Santa Cruz South. The central coast is really nice and its only 3-4 hours from the SF area.
