Boeing 737 on FSX. Why dont my engines shut down when I run out of fuel?

Why dont my engines shut down when I run out of fuel? I have done some long distant flights about 6 hours and stuff. I run on full fuel tanks and when it runs out im still fine. Does that mean i could fly at infinite?

    You should know the answer if you are indeed a pilot of a Boeing 737!

    Because you have Realism switched off. Goo into Settings and check.
