If you're sending a cover letter as an attachment, what do you put in the email?

I don't want to go with the boring "please see my attached cover letter and resume," but I don't know what else to put in the body of the email. I've been essentially writing a second cover letter there, but that's probably annoying to the recipient since it gives them an extra few paragraphs to read.

Thanks for any help!

Just a few sentences on why you would be good for that job. Like "I would be good for this position because of my past experiences with something something. I'm good with bla bla bla. I'm looking for a company where I can further develop my skills and where I can contribute and become a member of a team". Something like that. Writing CV:s, cover letters and all that crap is about kissing @ss.

Why not make the cover letter the email?
