Pepsi or Coca Cola in the Philippines?
Which of the two(2) leading soft drinks giant is preferable a habit of the Filipino people in every occasion or parties? And what happen to Pepsi cola bottling company of the Philippines? Before they were endorsed by Jollibee and McDonald but now both of them are now endorsing Coca Cola. Is this because of the number game Pepsi cap that amount to 20 million pesos that was not paid for by Pepsi company to the millions of Filipino winners. If I remember right this happen in the 90's. Is Pepsi company literally being killed in the Philippines?
I go for Coca cola.

There are no official statistics in the Philippines because the two cola giants are so secretive of their sales figures. However, the local market mimics closely with that of the U.S. where Coca-cola leads Pepsi, 42% to 28% in the latest figures by the Beverage Digest published in March 2013.
You go to major fastfood outlets in Manila and Cebu Coke has the edge so it is easy to see CCBP leads in the country.

I see most the people that drink Tuba mix it with Pepsi. I have even seen the women mix Pepsi with warm beer : (
That is interesting about Pepsi not paying the winners.
Just read an article on that incident from back in 1993. Pepsi is lucky they are still in business.

Pepsi is too expensive....Coke don't taste like coke...But RC? RC is the best, that's the only soda I drink, oh and their new 'Lemon' drink...fantastic too. RC beats Pepsi hands down. (and cheaper)
