Please substantiate as to why you recommend these headphones. I would also appreciate it if you could add headphones not mentioned in the list above but within the approximate price range.Also,state whether the headphones are subject to warranty as while as the duration if warranty is present.

From those, ONLY Sennheiser is REPUTABLE. Skullcandy breaks VERY easily and its sound quality is RUBBISH, and the other one is JUST a FASHION TOY, nothing to do with REAL audio quality.
Other manufacturers equally reputable with Sennheiser are Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Bowers & Wilkins, Bang & Olufsen, Etymotic, Beyerdynamic and Audio-Technica.

NONE: ALL of these horror stories will destroy your hearing FOREVER. A few years of listening with this hearing destroying junk will reduce your responses to the spoken word to 'Huh?" These things should be banned. Sorry to bust your balloon, but these things are really dangerous. The human ear is not designed for that level of noise.
