Is it time to elect another female president in 2016?
Miriam: PHL should elect female president in 2016, as her recent speech reiterated that the Philippines should elect a female president for equal gender policy, that for the past years all our president were men and only two were women. What do you think is it time once again to elect a woman as president of the republic? I would agree on this but after Gloria Arroyo, I think I do not like to see a woman again in the helm of power.

Male or female, the Philippines should elect a president that has a sense of integrity and is honest. Under the Aquino administration, the Philippines has bumped to the rank of 94 among 177 countries. This is a substantial development for the country. Let's just hope that the next president elected, by the wisdom of the people, should carry on this trend.

I am sure the country has plenty of women that have great academic backgrounds with leadership and management qualities befitting of a CEO to run the country like a corporation. However, leading a bureaucracy such as GRP is a different animal and its pitfalls turn away a lot of talent; preferring to stay out of the limelight within the comforts and frills of the private sector. In addition Filipino voters are so discriminating, the lady candidate has to have the star drawing power of a Kris Aquino, the holiness of Mother Theresa, the ferocity of a Bengal tiger, the brains of Marie Curie, the wit and articulateness of Carly Fiorina and the beauty of Sen. Santiago (so as not to arouse the testosterone of the studs around her) to be able to fulfill her duties. As of the moment not one female personality fits the bill; so to answer your question, NYET as the Russians would often say.

I think the Filipinos should elect a military like figure/ or someone physical.
Acta, non verbum.
Think of the Philippine security and sovereignty.
Miriam Defensor is used to the political word games, and she could alienate a lot of potential allies with harsh remarks. I don't think you can't use Miriam Defensor's tactics when it comes to the battlefield.
(One of Defensor's comments: "the americans are overpaid, oversexed and over here" - nice lines for a standup comedian for some)
Manny Pacquiao first.

I think The Philippines should elect someone that is not a member of or friend of any person who is in or has been in the government. Someone who has good ideas and has lived a life never ever being accused of any crime, with only one family to care for. That's my opinion, but then I am not Filipino, so I know this post is a waste of time. But H3II I got nothing else to do..........
Geeee...now I am afraid...I am so scared for life now...oh my God what do I do....Plezzzzzzzzzzzzzz! I am so sorry I offended you....forgive me pleazzzzzzzz?

LOL. Maybe a Gabriella Party marxist feminist president to be the mouthpiece for the NPA/CPP/CCP ?
LMAO.
It is very difficult to find a legitimate qualified female that is not a feminist Marxist stooge.

Voting for somebody should be done on that persons qualifications not their gender or how much they pay for your vote.
So if you feel the person is best for the job then he/she should get your vote.
