Are Liberals intolerant?

Contrary to popular conservative belief that "Liberals are intolerant of Conservatives who don't share their view's".

This isn't true, if you want to protest that 'X' sucks, go for it.

What would be great is if you don't invade the rights or wants of other people. You know, something that you hate governments doing.

Protest all you want, say you hate 'X', but let people do what they please.

Update:

@nobudE. What I'm saying is simple, though I wouldn't expect you to comprehend that. Simply said, if you don't like gay marriage (for example), you can not like it, Liberals won't say you can't not hate it, what we want, is for you not to take away their want to marry.

It's funny, the U.S. Constitution allows freedom of religion, so what if an Atheist wants to marry homo-sexually?

Update 2:

@Lisa. Woah, now you're putting words into my mouth, I didn't say anything. Although if I wanted to I could, just as you could be racist, pro-life, anti gay, and religious. I'm not taking away you're want to be those things, however, Conservatives seem to love to advocate anti-gay and pro-life laws. You know, something that should be the persons choice.

Update 3:

your* want

No, liberals are not intolerant. Take the issue of marriage freedom. The conservatives in UT are fine to have 10 wives, if they want them. If they can support, or the FLDS church wants to support, 50 kids, so be it.

But I won't tolerate them telling me I can't marry who I want.

That is the difference. "Freedom" to a con is the ability to tell others how to live their lives. I am intolerant of those authoritarians. If they leave me alone, I leave them alone.

hmmmm...Don't invade the rights or wants of other people? Like when the president himself said they COULD KEEP IT. Lies. Problem with Liberals is they think they know what is best for everyone else. Yes Liberals are intolerant! If you don't like others opinions..you immediately discount it as bunk or stupid. Never ever acknowledging that they are not always right.

What people should eat, what people should do...you think you have the right to dictate it, instead of allowing people to eat and do what they please!

Seriously!!! Now you will say that I am racist, pro-life, anti gay, Religious right wing biggot. All of which is untrue. So who is invading who's rights or wants?

Yes, I hate to admit it, but I've noticed it lately. I'm pro gay rights, anti bigotry, but anti illegal immigration, welfare parasites, whiners from other countries who think I should care if they are offended. So I don't have a party, both parties equally sicken me. I wish a libertarian candidate with a chance in hell would run, but the liberals, the stupid ones, not all, would call the candidate racist because the candidate would advocate immigrants learning English and assimilating. If I admit, in my heart, that women wearing burkas makes me sick and offends me as a woman, the I tolerant liberals will call me racist ( even though there are Asian, European, African Muslims) and I'll get used or lose a job. Part of growing up and respecting freedom means one has to deal with the fact that an American can say they don't like someone because of race, gender, sexuality. I'm not a bigot, but I have to respect the fact other people are, and no amount of legislation will change their heart. I will vote with my bank account and not patronize businesses of bigots, nor welcome them into my home or family business, but that's all I can do, and speak against them.

I tolerate a lot of people and beliefs, that doesn't mean I can't think they're completely moronic. To tolerate something is to put up with it, especially if you don't like it.

"you have to tolerate our being intolerant" has to be one of the weirdest conservative claims ever.

We don’t tolerate intolerance, which is why we don’t tolerate most Republicans.
