Why do people give a pass to the partisan media claiming it was a "guest" who made the comment?

So in your world, not only is the host scripted, but the guests' statements are also scripted?

On a network run along the lines of journalistic ethics, neither is ever scripted. Journalism isn't a one act play.

The Huffington Post, used to do that all the time

they would publish an article from a guest writer

that was obiviously over the top -- I mean just pure hate speech

2. then they would act surprized when people started complaining about the article

and delete it after 2 or 3 days

saying, it wasn't us who wrote it

3. then the next week, they would publish another article just as bad

Probably because a guest said it.

You seriously think they give scripts to the people they invite?

Fair and Balanced means you offer both sides of the opinion, then let the viewer decide. Why does that threaten you?
