Social Security benefits are always paid for the month before the month they are paid. They are paid using payment cycles. Cycle 1 in the 3rd day of the month. People who get SSI and Social Security get paid on the cycle 1 day as well as people who were getting benefits when payment cycles were introduced.
For people who get only Social Security those born between the 1st and 9th of the month are cycle 2, the second Wednesday. Those born from the 10th to the 19th are cycle 3, the third Wednesday. Those born after the 20th are cycle 4, the fourth Wednesday. All payments are for the prior month.
For SSI all payments are on the first day of the month and the payment is for that month.
If a payment day is on a Saturday, Sunday or holiday the payment is made on the last business day before that day. For example, if the 3rd falls on a Monday which is a Federal holiday payment will be made the prior Friday.

SS payments are made in advance. All other income payments, including UK social security retirement pensions are made in arrears. You are expected to work or otherwise qualify before you get paid. Capitalism would collapse if employers could not count on a free month's work from every new employee!

There is a calendar that can be located on the ss.gov website. Those of us that started receiving SS checks before 1997 get them on the 3rd of each month with exceptions made for weekends and holidays where we'll be paid the last business day before that. My 1st check was with-held until after the first full month of my retirement date. For instance, If my birthday had been in April my first check wouldn't have been until June 3rd. If you retired after 1997, you'd need to check that calendar.

That depend on your date of your Birthday some will get their at the 3rd of the month and some will get their at the last Wednesday of the month and it is always deposited on that said date unless it falls on a weekend.
You should have a letter from SS that will tell you when yours will be deposit.

Go to SocialSecurity.gov. Look through their search engine. A lot of it depends on what day of the month your birthday falls on.
