Need to Delete my answer! I was trying to report an answer and somehow my report got entered as an "Answer."?

Question

The Best Answer had already been picked, so it was a Reference Question:  The one word answer was abusive, but I don't want what I wrote as the report to be seen as An Answer.

But you can't edit an answer that you post if a Best Answer has already been picked.

What can I do to get it deleted?  I can't "report" it, either.

You can either email the Yahoo Answers Team y_answrs_team@yahoo.com (but this could take a while for them to get to it) or ask your contacts to report the content concerned.

You could also email someone who has a high reporting trust (if you know someone) and see if they are prepared to help.  I'm pretty sure most people would under the circumstances.

Hello wendalore, go to your profile. Select your answered questions. Chose the answer given by you. There you find edit option at the right top. Go to edit and delete the entire passage. Hope you would be free now
