Royalty are expected to do tours of the colonies. William and Kate took baby George with them, and no doubt if they had not they would have been criticised for leaving him at home. The fact is, royalty cannot win whatever they do.

Prince George is potentially a future king. This may the only opportunity some older 'colonials' (as you call them) - and those who are desperately interested/jealous of the royals - will get to see him.

What you do with your children is for your own conscience to dictate, as long as it doesn't clash with any laws of this country. It is nice that you should be concerned enough however, that you would ask us whether or not we condone your treatment of your children though.
