Christians, my pastor said some things I'm confused about?
Yesterday in church my pastor was talking about how he believes that demons are the spirits of the Nephilim and how they don't go to Heaven or Hell because they're part-angel, part-man. He used scripture references to back up what he said, however the verses he used never pointed conclusively to it.
After church, someone else said that they could prove just about everything he said wrong with scripture.
I guess my question would be, is it Biblical correct to assume that demons are the spirits of Nephilim and not fallen angels, or can it be proven wrong with the Bible (if so, please include verse references)?

I've never heard anyone say that demons are nephilim. In fact, most of my felloe Christians don't talk about nephilim. I though they were normally something that is associated with Judaism, since they're only spoken of twice in the NIV. But, anyway, here's a passage about demons being fallen angels:
Revelation 12:
7Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Woah no wonder you are confused!
The nephilm were indeed part human and part spiritual, because their parents, were those angels who left their place in heaven and had intercourse with females on earth and so, is born the: fellow, which is what is the translation.
That is also why our Creator caused a flood, because man was just out of control and why only Noah and his family survived, because they were the only ones who listened to their Creator;
As for heaven and hell! Heaven is where angels indeed reside, but hell - that is just the grave of humankind ie death! There is no hellfire!

verses about angels
Is6:2
1 Ts4:16
1 P3:22
Jud.9
Ap.12:7
demons are fallen angels and they are satans personal army, they roam the earth and will be condemned to hell with satan when judgement time is happening, then after a thousand years, they will be released again to rule the earth. This is the times of ths apocalypse when people would be tortured and killed, marked with the beasts number. Then Jesus will battle satan and end him forever throwing him and his army of demons along with his followers to the lake of fire, hell.

Genesis 6 is one of the most controversial parts of the Bible.
Were the "sons of God" men or angels? The idea of angels comes from the Septuagint but there are so many mistranslations that came out of the Septuagint, I don't trust it.
