what are advantages and disadvantages of air resistance?

    Disadvantage: - it causes the loss of kinetic energy and therefore makes moving parts less efficient in a given mechanism

    Advantage: - it can be used as a means of generating lift (bernoulli's principle) for propeller blades, spoilers or aeroplane wings.

    Advantage: - Burns up meteors.

    Disadvantage: - Can rip the roof right off a building. (Pressure differential caused by bernoulli's principle)
