If "this above all else to thine own self be true" can it be incorporated into Christian Life?

It comes from Polonius' Advice to Laertes in Hamlet and is one of my favorite lines in the play.

"This above all else, to thine own self be true and it follows as night the day that thou canst not be false to any other man"

Can one be true both to oneself and the Lord at the same time?

The truth is, God doesn't love everyone, he hates non-believers & the disobedient Psalm 11:5-6, Psalm 5:5-6. and he's going to destroy them Psalm 145:20, Psalm 94:23.

In fact. God laughs at the wicked because he knows their day is coming Psalm 37:13

God hated Esau (which means, "God loves everyone" is a lie)

He loves his elect. those who love him back Proverbs 8:17, John 14:21, he sent his son Christ to die for his sheep John 10:11 (that does not include nonbelievers and the wicked)

"loves the sinner but hates the sin" is a lie, made up by Gandhi (one of Satan's favourite mouthpieces)

    What about John 3:16? "

well, if you go over to verse 18 it says "those who do not believe are condemned already" which means, God hates them and will destroy them when judgment rolls around. Psalm 145:20, Psalm 94:23.

Since God hates the non-believers and the wicked, does that mean he hated non-believers before they believed?

The Answer is No, The reason why you became a believer is because God loved you in the first place and gave you his grace and mercy John 1:12, the bible says he chose you before you were born- Jeremiah 1:5,

As for the non-believers, the people God did not give his grace too, they are vessels his wrath to come- Proverbs 16:4, Romans 9:22.

Which means, God hates them Psalm 11:5-6, Psalm 5:5-6. and he's going to destroy them Psalm 145:20, Psalm 94:23.

    Of course not.

"Above all else"... that pretty much speaks for itself. Polonius was saying EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of what all christian denominations demand.....

When we ask God, through Christ, into our heart and lives we become, or rather, start becoming the best that we can be, and with this new God-given identity we need to be true to the spirit of Christ living within us for we have adopted him to become like him!

Yes It can . It tells me to as a Christian to listen to what my heart says , that agape love is not just a concept and that atheism takes more blind retarded faith then I have to give lol.
