US military retires: Is the retirement check deposited March 31 for March or April?

    Pay is always in arrears, whether active, guard, reserves, or retired. So the March 31 check is for March.

    Its for March but I don't get mine until April 1

    Why would you get paid before you work? You don't so just like it was when you were Active you are paid for the previous month
