Can the Sandigan Bayan jail the 3 Senators?

Question

If the Ombudsman office find probable cause against the 3 senators(tanda,pogi and sexy) can the Sandigan Bayan put these 3 in jail?  I doubt it myself. But I will watch the development as it goes along. I assume the 3 will find a TRO against the ruling of the Ombudsman until it delay the proceedings. Giving them more time to plead that they are innocent of the charges, and obviously none of them will resign in their position. What is your opinion on this? thank you.

I notice some of my question is avoided by lots of people, like a plague. But when someone ask for a typical question everyone jump to answer it, sometimes my own question is protested by some group and remove it from the post. I lost my question regarding oil depot which has no ranting, no insulting words against anyone but suddenly remove from the forum. I bet only 2 or 3 will answer this, I am not surprise with the way people think in here. they would rather side with an idiot than with me. kaya nga walang tayong pag asang umasenso with the mentality that we have. would it change for the better I think not in this generation, maybe 40 years from now, when all of us is gone.

This is a good question and I am sure many Filipinos like to have a definitive answer. One thing I notice, the Philippine justice system contains  certain loopholes that these wily senators and their hoard of lawyers would take advantage of. Among them is the potential to be detained by the senate security bureau  which is a quasi police body and therefore can detain anybody deemed a security risk. thus  escaping being incarcerated by  NBP in Muntinglupa. A whole lot of difference. The key is for the palace to vigorously press the justice department to speed up the trial just like they did on the Corona case. Any delay is justice denied. The Filipino people deserves quick, fair and full justice. Big time robbery of government coffers must not be rewarded.

the working process of the Philippines is not the same with the united states of America justice system. that is why your theory is quite true. but for the present administration who want to stomp out corruption I think he should encourage the set of government to work properly and fast to give this one a credible conclusion, the people are already disenchanted with the government, if this one will just be forgotten our faith hangs in the balance.

yes whatever happen to your question on oil depot, it was deleted? what kind of people would do that? I notice people gang up on your name like if they see something like deliverance or delivery boy or delicacy they will immediately put TD on it without reading your answer or try to remove/delete it, it is some kind of personal thing not anymore about what you write or what you think. well there is a saying, some are wise, some are otherwise. do not let this discourage you, ask more and write more, do not let these people put you down and do not stoop down on their low level of mentality.

Not knowing the full workings of the process here I would agree with you as you seem to be very knowledgable about things in the Philippines.
I also keep thinking about the deal with Erap going to jail for corruption but then getting elected as Mayor !!
