Going from lilac/ light purple hair back to platinum?

Hi so i always get my hair bleached or do it myself to a bleach blonde color (my aunt is a hair dresser and taught me how to the safest way), and i recently dyed my hair a semi-permanent lilac or light purple hair just for fun. But i want to go back to my all blonde soon. My aunt is out of the country so i cannot ask her and i was wondering do i just bleach over it?? or do i have to take the lilac out first? Then, what toner do you recommend from sallys for a platinum/ silver color for the blonde. i use purple shampoo but i mean just for toning right after. By the way, im 17 but my mom will be helping me and such. Thank you so much!

You can bleach or do a bleach bath, which it's mixing shampoo into your bleach mixture and applying to wet hair, it may take more than one bath to get it all out. Manic Panic Virgin Snow is a good platinum toner but costs more than regular toner. You can also use Wella T18 Lightest Ash Blonde.

You will have to bleach it, but it would be healthier for your hair to wait a couple of weeks until the lilac dye has faded. I've never gone blonde, but I've heard good things about this toner in Lightest Ash Blonde from Sally's: http://www.sallybeauty.com/wella-hair-color/SBS-80...

Good luck, and I hope this helps!

You are fine going purple to blonde. I actually dye my hair purple on purpose to go back to a blonde with out the brassyness. I love manic panics snow white toner. It is the BEST!
