P0171 & P0174 (system too lean bank 1 & 2 check engine light code?
Check engine light just came on. Scanned the code and received these two codes. Where is the simplest, least expensive way to start out? I hope its a easy fix, I don't feel like putting more money into this car before I sell it :(
thanks

If you have lean codes on both banks it will not be 02 sensors.
Spray the intake manifold at the gasket areas with carb cleaner with the motor cold and running and when it's warmed up and running. If the rpm's go up you have a vacuum leak.
No vacuum leak I'd put a MAF sensor on it. The correct way to diagnose the MAF is to use a scan tool and read the voltages. If you don't have a scan tool, price out the MAF. Having a mechanic scan the engine data costs as much as some rebuilt MAF sensors so you decide how to spend your money.
