If you are breaking up with someone because they have no money that is shallow but if you love him/her then money shouldn't be a massive issue. If he/she is a great person to hang out with and youl feel like every minute spent with them is more enjoyable than hours spent with someone else than you can work through money issues. They are at college chances are they are concentrating on that rather than work once they finish though and get a job money will come

The fact that you have to ask this means that you are in a position you don't want to be in. You just want to hear from other people that No we also wont want that. It gets frustrating to pay for everything and carry dead weight. If you feel up to it and your wallet is able to pay for everything then give it a shot maybe you learn there's more to a relationship than money and it might be worth it until the other party can contribute.
