Confused about women?

So I met a girl first day freshman year, and I wanted to ask her out then, but things kept happening and I felt she thought we were friends, on valentines day my brother and another girl guessed I liked her and said if I didn't do anything they would tell her and they did, which she said "if he was a man, he would ask me himself" and my good friend is a girl and her friend and u guess has been dropping hints that she like to date me but wouldn't make the first move. My self proclaimed "ultimate wing man stole my phone and gave it to her so I had to go talk to her, as I was walking up he yelled he loves you, she just turned around and started whispering something to her friends and they said he's right there we'll talk about it later and she got red in the face. I like her so much that I do anything to see her smile. I joined band group just because she was the one who asked if I wanted to do it, I spent hours practicing to try to impress her, we played off the same music a lot so we sat awful close and I have a horrible knot in my stomach every time I think about her, keeps me up at night and it seems all I think about anymore. I think she'll say yes but if she says no I don't think I'll be able to live anymore i just want to be with her forever, which sounds really creepy, we have more than a friendship, now that like forty people found out today they all laugh and smile at me when they see me, and tell me to just do it. I just needed to get if out, I want it but I'm scared
