ramadan are we allowed to share prayer room with other faiths?

Assalamualeykum

So basically at school there is a prayer room and obviously mostly Muslims use it

But a couple times a person from a different faith would pray in it.

I dont pray when they pray but can I pray later cuz there isn't any religious symbols inthe room. Its just a plain room where ppl pray.

So as Muslims can we still pray in that room?

    Yes, you can sister!

You are in a condition where you have no other choice, so you can pray anywhere you like as long as they don't bother you!

Islamically there is nothing wrong in it!

Oh yeah, You have to stay away from Non-Mahrams though!

I hope you are well :)

    Your sister in Islam :)

I asked a question something like this a while ago. My question was is it ok to pray in a Christian church. Most of the answers said yes as long as you are not praying to Jesus, and if the people there will accept it. Also some answers reminded me that Allah has made the entire earth a place to pray so if you are not comfortable praying in that room you are free to find any other place on earth that makes you comfortable.

Yes, definitely. Prayer is peaceful in all religions. Hazrat Umar prayed in a temple where Prophet David use to pray when he went to Jerusalem as the second Khalifa. Obviously, Jews had used that mosque for prayer. Therefore, this is proof that we can. However, he refused to pray in a Church but the only reason for that is because he did not want to encourage Muslims to conquer Churches and turn them into mosques in the future NOT because Christians used it.

I know its not quite the same,

But here in my town in England,The Muslim community is fairly small.

They use a room in the local church for prayers.

They may not be in the room at the same time, but it shows an understanding between people of different faiths

Wa alaikum salam Yes in emergency situation you can pray in the same room with other religion's followers if there is no separate room for Muslims only at your school You can pray after they finish their prayer or you perform prayer in the same room in another part as long as it is clean You are not allowed to join their prayer.

You can even pray when some other faith is worshipping in the same room as long as it does not bother you.

You can pray in the same room as them as long as you are not distracted from doing salah. If they bring in idols and his distracts you, then it is better you wait till they are done.
