If f(x) is an exponential function, then what type of function is f^-1(x)?

I'm thinking it might be inverse, but I'm not sure.

    Yes, the f^-1(x) part denotes that it is an inverse function, but this is what the question is looking for: in the case of exponential functions, the inverse function will be a *logarithmic* function.
