I know there's CNA, but what else?

Taking classes for several weeks isn't a problem, because then I can take the exam and get certified after spending much less than I already do for college taking prerequisites for 2 years now. My problem is going to college for several years taking unnecessary classes and paying for unnecessary materials that don't actually help.

x^2-3y^2=1

4x^2+3y^2=19

Answers are ((2,1),(2,-1),(-2,1),(-2,-1))

I think it's possible to solve using the elimination method but I'm not 100% sure

x-y=8

x-z=8

y+z=8

I know the answer is (12,4,4) but I don't know how to solve it. I know I have to solve 2 of the equations for one variable and then plug in but I'm not sure how. I'm used to x+y+z=# type style equations.

So I'm good at solving systems using my graphing calculator and by using the substitution method, but for the life of me can't figure out how to work out problems using elimination.

0.08x+0.02y=0.06

4x+y=3

(Answer: (x,-4x +3))

3x/2 - y/3= -18

3x-4 - 2y/9=-9

(Answer: (-12,0))

A step-by-step or even a walkthrough would be appreciated, thanks!

I often see posts on Facebook asking for unspoken prayer requests. Do you believe you deserve to know what you're praying for for that person? Or do you think we should just make assumptions, which are usually malicious, about the person because they may have done something terrible (such as infidelity)?

The population growth of an animal species is described by F(t)=400 log (2t + 4) where t is measured in months. a) find population of species after 6 months. b) how many month until population doubles?

I've done a and gotten these results

a) F(6)=400 log (2(6) +4) = 482 months

As for b, this is my interpretation of how I should solve, but I'm not sure.

b) 482*2= 964

964 = 400 log (2t +4)

964/400 = log (2t +4)

2.41 = log (2t +4)

I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly or if I am correct, where I should go from there.

log x^2 = (log x)^2

Instructions say to use any method, but I'm not sure what would be the best and easiest to learn/memorize.

The equation starts like this:

logx 25 = 2

The following is my work:

x^2=25

√x^2=√25

x= +/- 5

Is it correct or did I miss something completely?

f(x)=√(9-16x^2)

I get as far as I have gotten:

f(x)=√(9) -√16x^2)

f(x)= 3 - 4x

Now where do I go from there?

Instructions also say to round the answer to four decimal places if necessary, but I don't know if that's a trick or not.

I know that the solution to the amount after 92 years is 139 mg. But how do I find how to find the half-life?

Is it to basically find out the inverse of the function? How do I do this?

If f(x) is an exponential function, then what type of function is f^-1(x)?

I'm thinking it might be inverse, but I'm not sure.

I'm legally an adult. My mom wants me out of the house but my dad doesn't.

I'm making a scatter plot graph with 10 pieces of information to use on both x and y axis, though x doesn't need to tampered with, I need to figure out how to space, or what to "count" by on the y-axis, the plots varying from 95 to 2,232.

I'm pretty much asking what should I could by to get between 10 and 2,500 on about 10 ten lines or so. If not that, how many lines should I add and what should I could by to get a certain number range including numbers in the 500's and 200's and 400's.

I have to "determine the coordinates of all intercepts of the x and y axes." Do I do this on the calculator or by hand? How do I find this out?
