Does anyone know anything about abdominal pain?

I felt fine at work yesterday. On my way home, I just didn't feel quite right. I went to the bathroom, had no issues, nothing was weird or anything and then I just went and sat on the couch. After an hour, I just had really sharp pains in my lower abdomen...pretty much anything from my belly button down. It felt like sharp stabbing pains...like I had swallowed a bunch of needles and every time I would move they would stab my stomach over and over. I went to take a hot shower thinking maybe that would feel better. It didn't help at all. I took some Ibuprofen and layer down in bed. Every time I would breath I would get this stabbing pain over and over. When I woke up this morning, the pain was gone, but it felt like I did 400 crunches. My ab muscles were just sore. Does anyone know anything about this? It has only happened once.

Hello, there could be a number of options regarding your pain. You could be experiencing period pain before you get your menstrual cycle hits (you didnt mention if you were male or female). It could be a bladder or kiddney infection, a urinary tract infection, or it could be your appendix. If it stays constant I would get yourself to the doctor!

    I hope this helps!

When I had Appendicitis I thought it was menstrual cramps at first it was right below my belly button. It kept getting worse I looked up my symptoms online figured out what it was and went to the ER. I had a scan and then emergency surgery to remove it. Look online and see what your symptoms match or just go to the Doctor.
