I 'm not talking about reducing crime. I am talking about the punishment must fit the crime and stopping repeat offenders Where is the evidence that the crime rates in Australia are falling. The crime rate reports that are posted by politicians are calculated by crimes verses population with in an area . Not crimes committed overall per year . There's a big difference

First of all,I say be grateful you dont live in the US.
But to the question.I do understand where you are comming from,as there are those who take matters in their own hands and do some pretty rotten crimes,no matter if you live in Australia or where, but! you have to be careful as there has been known cases over the years that innocent people have been put to death and not found out till years later.Think of their families, how aweful their lives are now.
I wonder if there may be more cases like this, not yet found out.
In the case for example in Australia a few years ago the nurse Anita Coby, who was just going home from work and so so brutally attacked, murdered with most public not even to this day knowing all that her killers did to her,and there was no doubt what so ever as to who did this, then I can understand why some or perhaps most would say the death penalty should apply.
On the other hand perhaps though,if they stayed in prison for all their natural lives and did some kind of hard labour and were kept all their time in solitary confinement, this would be a fitting sentence to them as it would truly be their hell on earth. No visitors, not Tv,no rest just hard working, and being on their own in a room that just fits their bed, toilet and shower till they die of old age in there.

No, for several reasons.
Crime rates in Australia have been on the decline for years. Your claim that those crimes are increasing is not true. Even if it was, there is no evidence that the death penalty reduces crime rates. Countries that install it do not experienced reduced crime rates as a result. The death penalty is an ineffective barbaric punishment that was rightly removed.

First take a look at the death penalty in the US, where murder rates are higher than in Australia:
The death penalty doesn't reduce violent crime, costs much more than life in prison and, worst of all, can lead to the nightmare of executing someone for a crime he didn’t commit.
It comes down to revenge and retribution, the only plausible to support it.

And so in your blood lust, you'll ignore the fact that the death penalty never decreases crime rates.

I'd be happy if pedos and rapists got their necks stretched for their abuses.
Hell, I'd do the honours myself.
