It's a geographic feature, it's OK to call it Black Sea. You don't have to be politically correct about it.
It gets its name because when you sail on the Black Sea, well away from the shore, in the afternoon the water looks dark like black ink.

Very funny! It is allowed to use the word 'black', especially when it is a translation of the Turkish name for the (almost) inland sea which lies between the north coast of Turkey and the southern coasts of Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Georgia (not the US state).
Turkish name is Karadeniz, kara meaning black and deniz meaning sea.
